Olivia Newton-John - Soul Kiss (VHS) *1985*

In 1985 Olivia released a video of five of the tracks from her new album Soul Kiss. These were directed by David Mallet.
The title track is one of the hottest videos Olivia has ever filmed and Olivia is fully clothed throughout. 
Although Physical partially broke the 1970s whiter than white image this album with its overtly sexual subjects coupled with Olivia's "red hot" look was a shock to some fans.

The title video is innovative and interesting and inevitably the other videos pale by comparison. Olivia was pregnant at the time and this probably curtailed the amount of time spent filming. 
The Toughen Up video is fun if cliched. The three remaining videos are basically Olivia performing to camera. 
On the two ballads this is very effective, despite Olivia's new raunchy image, she's as lovely and sincere as ever. 

After the birth of her daughter Olivia returned to her "normal image" with the release of The Rumour video in 1988.
