Disconnect - Obscuros
Obscuros" is the most progressive recording yet released by Disconnect. Featuring elements of heavy prog, space rock, ambient rock, and eclectic prog -a true representation of the scope of modern progressive rock.
Bio:
Long-time musical collaborators Erich O'Dell (guitar, bass, keyboards, vocals) and Brian Eschrich (drums, percussion, synths) produce the most solid work of their respective careers. Listeners are treated to myriad influences throughout such as King Crimson, Porcupine Tree, Rush, Kevin Gilbert, Transatlantic, The Police, and Spock's Beard, among many others. Without question a progressive rock release, "Radio Hostile" still manages to keep itself grounded with pop influences sprinkled throughout. "Radio Hostile" is a true concept album in every sense, yet each track stands on its own. Telling the tale of an artist's attempt to achieve what others generally define as success, we see the story culminate in the realization that success and happiness with one's art is not always based upon how much money you make or how many people know your name. ..
