With the blessing of Mother Gayatri, Vishwarath the warrior became Vishwamitra the Sage. Lord Brahma himself proclaimed him as a high priest. King Satyavrat who was barred from entering Heaven alive was given a new Heaven by this great Sage. Vishwamitra's grandson Bharat became the founding father of 'Bharat Varsha'. He proved to the mighty Gods how virtuous a mere human being could be through the example of King Harishchandra. So much so, he was the one who made Ram and Laxman brave warriors. After Lord Ram's marriage to Sita, Sage Vishwamitra became one of the seven celestial Sages. His life is unequalled, unique and indeed reverential.
