Post Description
Hall and Oates have always been part of a musical style known as "blue eyed soul", a term coined in the 1960s to describe R&B and soul music played by white artists. such bands often played songs recorded in a style similar to music found on the predominantly black Motown and Stax labels. Little wonder then, that during the New Year's Eve 1978 concert, 35 years ago today in Pittsburgh, Hall and Oates performed a cover of The Temptation's number one single from 1965, My Girl.
