Description :
This DTS-CD is transcoded using the newest and digital method (DVD-A Explorer).
The SACD version (analog) is reposted over and over but a DVD-A version is actually much better.
I have search the internet and did not come across a DVD-A DTS-CD version and therefore I have created one myself.
The SACD version was already superb but if you want the best... here it is the DVD-A DTS-CD version.
Enjoy this DTS-CD version.
It is clear that this Retail surround will outperform every upmix created, however the latest DPL II does perform very well.
Note : I have included some print screens of the DVD-A, DVD-A-DTS and the SACD-DTS version.
It is clear that a SACD > Version version is not as good as you might think !?
I don't say it will sound worse because it sounds great...however a DVD-A > Version version is simply better.

Additional Info :
Furthermore I want to emphasize that original DTS-streams are better to upload than Audio-CD copies (from copies).
Audio-CD do have often faults and can not be checked 100%.
It therefore goes often wrong with the result that you have glitches etc...
Especially DTS-CD are very sensitive for write/read faults.
It is even recommended to include a sfv or md5 file to check if the downloaded file(s) is(are) verified and OK.
Even on a Hard disk faults may occur !
EAC has the ability to compare wav files.
Try it for you self...
Burn the DTS-CD and extract it again with EAC.
Then compare this uploaded file and the EAC extracted file)
Your copy from a Audio-CD is not identical to the original DTS-CD stream file !?
Most often the beginning and end will be faulty, but it even is possible tracks do have glitches.
THANKS TO POSTER: r.k
