With a passion for life, Johnny Cash in 1991 performed a benefit show in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, to support Reverend Jack Shaw's vision and dream of building a hospital in Kenya that would reach into the heart of suffering and provide help where it's direly needed. Now available to everyone for the first time ever, this concert DVD shows the charismatic charm and timeless songs of the one and only, Johnny Cash. Among the rarely recorded, in the studio or live, are "Man In White," "Angel Band," "Beautiful Life" and "The Greatest Cowboy Of Them All." Performers include The Carter Family, June Carter, and John Carter Cash.
In 1991, the man in black himself--Johnny Cash--took the stage in Johnstown, Pennsylvania in order to alleviate suffering many miles away. In service to Reverend Jack Shaw's vision of building a hospital in Kenya, Cash performed a benefit show loaded with his biggest hits and a few rarely heard tracks, and urged those who took comfort in his music to offer the same to those who needed it abroad.
