Ronnie Wood looks back at the wild days of rock 'n' roll with his former Faces bandmate Ian McLagan
In the early seventies, the pair toured the world with Rod Stewart, Ronnie Lane and Kenney Jones,
becoming renowned for smashing up hotel rooms in every country from Australia, to Japan and the USA.
As well as being one of the highest-grossing acts of the time,
Faces enjoyed huge success with hits including Had Me a Real Good Time,
Stay With Me and Cindy Incidentally before going their separate ways in 1975.
For a while, keyboardist McLagan joined Wood as a sideman for the Rolling Stones
as well as in The New Barbarians with Keith Richards and Joseph Modeliste.
He went on to provide backing to artists including Chuck Berry, Bruce Springsteen and Bob Dylan.
As well as looking back at the heady days of the 1970s, Wood and McLagan
also have a big future to discuss. Last year, the Faces reformed for a hugely
successful world tour, and it has been rumoured that they have been asked to close the London Olympic Games.
