Mamborama is the brainchild of Grammy nominated songwriter and producer Bill Wolfer, who has worked with artists such as Stevie Wonder and Michael Jackson. This CD has such a natural, organic groove to it. Night of the Living Mambo is the premiere CD of the new Latin Jazz band Mamborama. Recorded in Los Angeles in July and August of 2000, the CD features appearances by Tito Puente/Ray Baretto alumnus Art Webb, trumpeter Luis Eric, Violinist Susie Hansen and Cuban percussionists Jimmy Branly and El Negro Hernandez. Killer tracks are "Cuba Te Llama", "Ritmo Rico" + "Es Solo Musica". Mamborama plays high energy, Cuban-style Latin Jazz that is tailored for dancing as well as listening.
