Chinese Beard began in the spring of 2008, when I decided to fully concentrate on making music without compromise and without giving in on other people"s demands. By 2010 over 50 minutes of music was recorded and a few songs still required a little tweaking in certain aspects (Who"s gonna sing on these songs!?). As time passed I decided to sing myself on the two songs that required vocals in May 2010, since I had already come up with vocal melodies and written lyrics for them.

Mainly instrumental progressive rock influenced by various different musical styles and classic prog acts of the last four decades. Long, orchestral compositions with progressive themes and melodies.
