Arms and Uniforms The Second World War (4):
The development of the great powers, Denmark and the Netherlands By Liliane and Fred Funcken
This is the final volume in the series dealing with the Second World War. Over the years we have been writing these books, our readers have continually told us how much they appreciate this long and arduous task. On many occasions they have anticipated the problems of our work, and have helped us to deal with the more difficult sections. We have also been assisted by eye-witnesses and participants who have sent us vital information which enabled us to correct and complete the details of particular uniforms.
We would like to offer our sincere thanks to the following people for their invaluable help: M. Maurice Chauvet, formerly of the 4th Commando, M. Claude Morin, M. Jacques Lekeu, and once again M. Marcel Boulin, the curator of the Hussar Museum at Tarbes, who so kindly gave us the benefit of his valuable time.
Finally we would like to thank our old friend M. Rene Moulin, Honorary President of the society 'Histoire et Figurines' for all the documentation he so generously put at our disposal.
