Harefield is one of the best known big carp gravel pits in the country. To make a DVD on this very difficult water was likely to be very hard as takes can be few and far between and many of the country’s top carp anglers have struggled to come to grips with its inhabitants. When Rob Maylin set out to make this DVD he knew the risks involved, very wary fish and hazardous gravel bars could both be difficult to overcome. Never in his wildest dreams could he imagine what the opening twelve days would have in store for him.
