Post Description
The Panzer III emerged as one of the images of German military success in the Propaganda newsreels documenting the Blitzkrieg victories of the early war years, and still served as a command tank as late as 1944.
Developed by the Germans in response to the Soviet T-34 tanks, the medium Panzer tanks were armed with an anti-tank gun and two machine guns. While effective against Allied weapons, they still proved inferior to the Soviet models. This documentary follows the evolution of the Panzer III, and shows it in action via combat footage.
