Sang Pemimpi (The Dreamer) is the sequel to Laskar Pelangi (The Rainbow Troops).
Once more we follow Ikal and his adventures in Laskar Pelangi.
He has found a new troop that helps him realize his dream: a scholarship in Paris.
Sang Pemimpi is not only about friendship and chasing dreams, it also presents the audience with a realistic picture of contemporary Indonesia.
