Post Description
Moon Martin And The Ravens (Robert Palmer related) Ludwigshafen Germany1981-01-24 FM - An essential concert for your collection by the man who wrote "Bad Case Of Loving You" - mp3 samples included, dammit TAKE THIS!
*****STOP BROWSING AND READ THIS, SUCKER!*****
This music REFUSES TO BE IGNORED! After almost 28 years, this stuff could have been written yesterday. Why haven't you heard of this man and his music? It's because he has never heard of the word COMPROMISE and all of it's many meanings. He just wants to write and produce great music, and doesn't care about anything else.
It's true, he did have a number on the charts with "Rolene", way back when. But, if you go onto his website (MoonMartin.com), he isn't even interested in material from this point in his career. You can of course browse the dark, sinister lyrics (and I recommend you do just that), but to categorize him brings failure. He brings a combination of dark rockabilly, evil rock and roll, and perfectly placed sick minor chords (are you listening yet?) to his "die bastard woman" lyrics.
Did I mention the nerdy round glasses? If that's all you see after hearing this show and looking at his picture on his website, it's you who need attention bud!
Hey, I'm done here.
