It makes for a lively show, a recap on Gordon's attempt last year to stop La Parra in Nerja serving the likes of prawns with chocolate sauce. When we check back on the place a year down the line (mushy pasta, burnt puddings), you start to wonder if chef-cum-proprietor- cum-spoilt-idiot Laurence picked the right career path
