“Abominant from the States has been steadily hammering on the door since 1991.All-in-all, the songs still breath pure American death metal. the unrelenting and threatening atmosphere of the album and the occasional flash of doom make sure the emphasis on speed in both drums and riffing does not get boring at all. When the speedometer gets some rest, as in 'After The Fallout', Abominant show they know how to perform that trick as well. You cannot listen to 'Where Demons Dwell' without thinking of Marduk's 'Panzer Division Marduk', Incantation, Morbid Angel and Acheron, while this combination never sounds farfetched or improper. ”
