Every level lasts for a set period of time. To beat a level you must complete all of its goals before time runs out. Beat the super goal as well to earn a chest key. Use bonuses and totems to add precious seconds to the timer. Gems are the currency you use to upgrade the totems and bonusese. Earn gems by playing levels, playing the slot machines, opening chests, and earning archivements.
