Hailing from the San Francisco Bay area, Magellan is a Progressive Rock act in the most classic sense. Fronted by the brothers Gardner, Trent and Wayne, Symphony For A Misanthrope is their sixth album and their second for Inside Out Music. Coming from a very musical family, Trent Gardner has also composed and produced the rock opera Leonardo - The Absolute Man where he worked with some of Progressive music&#146;s finest artists. He has also contributed to many other recordings as a writer, performer, or producer including solo projects by Dream Theater frontman James LaBrie and Steve Walsh from Kansas. Steve also lends his talent on keyboards for this brilliant album.
