Winter is coming! Rebecca Gibney reprises role of Detective Sergeant Eve in The Killing Field spin off for new murder mystery drama

She portrayed the character in the TV movie, The Killing Field earlier this year.
And now, actress Rebecca Gibney will be back on Australian TV screens as Detective Sergeant Eve Winter in Channel Seven's new show, Winter.
The murder mystery series will premiere next year on Seven, with the trailer being released on Tuesday.
The series is based around the mysterious separate murders of two young women with matching tattoos on the same night.  
The 49-year-old will reprise her character, alongside Aussie actor Peter O'Brien, who also returns from the TV movie in his role as Inspector Lachlan McKenzie, Winter's former boss and love interest.
Also rejoining the cast include Liam McIntyre and Chloe Boreham along with new addition, Matt Nable.
Full of crime scenes, heated arguments and gun point chase downs, Winter has become one of Seven's most highly anticipated shows for the New Year.
