For the first time since 1997, Swedish MILLION grace us with a new album, complete with new label, new singer and new guitarist, lots of news in the MILLION-camp, so was the sound also affected by the changes? Yes and no.

First of the "yes"'s. New singer Ulrich Carlsson has a quite different voice from long-time fronter Hasse Johansson, but it does not take long to get used to his vocals, which are different, a bit smoother, but they still fit. Also the groove has been reduced a lot compared to "Electric", bringing the music a bit closer to their roots, also because the keyboard are less used as an organ and more like the more common sounds of this instrument.

Now the "no"'s. What still is a top-most quality of the MILLION-sound is, well, quality. Very catchy, but never sappy, melody-lines with a great sets of dynamics incorporated into the compositions, spanning the whole range from balladry to up-tempo. And despite not revolutionizing the genre, they manage not to drown in the generics of many bands still maintaining their own sound, as paradox as it may sound.

Despite not picking up as much drive as the previous "Electric", tracks as the catchy opener "I'm Your Blood", the dynamic "I Know Your Name", "Even The Sun", "Showstopper" or "Race With The Devil" still stand out from the genre-crowd and definitely are worth a ear of each and every Melodic Rock/Metal-connoisseur out there.
