Post Description
On December 3, 2011, just 2 years ago today, Sheryl Crow performed a special benefit concert in Franklin TN for the New Hope Academy, captured in this high quality audience recording.. Her set list included a cover of The First Cut Is The Deepest, a song written by Cat Stevens that was covered by Rod Stewart in 1977. Sheryl’s version was one of her most successful singles, peaking at #14 on the Billboard charts and staying in the top 100 for 36 weeks. The tune also became her first top 40 country record. By the way, in keeping with the holiday season, Sheryl also throws in another great cover, her version of Chuck Berry's Run Rudolph Run.
