REVIEW
It shouldn't come as a shock that Jamal Gasol's debut release is not only is Super-tight but sounds like the work of a season vet. If you've been hip to the numerous EPs he has released over the last couple of years, you're already aware of the distinct slow-flow and street wisdom he's become known for along with the superior quality of his projects. Mr. 31 has found a way to stand among the crowd of nice MCs by sticking to his guns, showing consistency and having an ear for top-notch production.
The debut is most certainly a nice way to close out a prolific year for the "Dirty Waters" don. My confidence in his work is why I bought the album without hearing one track, he's a name you can trust. I'm only expecting bigger and better things from the Niagara Falls spitter, he's someone to check for in 2019 and this joint is affirmation of that.
