The premiere of the 90 minute live show, "New Year's Bash 2011" has been announced by MTV on 16th December, 2010 and it will debut live on MTV and MTV2 on 31st December, 2010 at 10:30pm ET. The New year's Bash 2011 will give comedic look back at 2010 and also comprehensive preview of the upcoming season of Jersey Shore which is expected to debut on 6th January, 2011. Comedian and rising star Whitney Cummings will host the New Year's Bash 2011.

The cast of the Jersey Shore and another recognized TV personality will feature on this show. "Saturday Night Live" Bobby Moynihan, comedian Nick Kroll, Internet sensation Keenan Cahill, and R & B star Flo Rida, who performs his hit single "Club Can't Handle Me" for the crowd are special guest of the show. The cast members of the Jersey Shore season 3 will not only work to attract the Times Square's crowds to set the Guinness world record for the most people first forcing, but also launch the first preview of the next season.
MTV's New Year's Bash 2011 will celebrate to say goodbye to the 2010 and welcome to the 2011. It will celebrate the people, moments and events that conquered the headlines in 2010. Whitney Cummings said, "I can't wait to host MTV's New Years Eve Bash!" It's going to be so fun to party with the Jersey Shore and rip on all things 2010. I'm gonna get some really good tweets."

Comedians will give their exclusive and very funny outlooks on the year in television, music, relationship, internet and more. Faintly before midnight, viewers of MTV will see Snooki also known as Nicole Polizzi, when she is lowered in ball to MTV's rooftop deck to help ring in the New Year.
